Last week something beautiful was born, La Petite Garçonne,the sister boutique to Montreal’s femme fashianado store ‘1861’. The Main lit up with white, not with snow,but with cupcakes, white chocolate bars, wine, and sushi. Inside was fresh, elegant, simplistic, girly but with a masculine edge. The store at 3650 Blvd St. Laurent was buzzing and buzzed with the after work crowd and fashion hoard eagerly trying on winter looks and shoes; camera flashes bouncing off mirrors, a chaotic warm experience of aromatic fresh new garments. This may be one of the places to be to grab your statement snow time sweaters, the rest of fall boots, or just a lap around affordable luxury rolling into the new year. I know I will be back for that black cut out sleeve oversized sweater.
